IHU SEPSIS is pleased to announce that the DETECSEPS project has been selected as a winner of the “Challenge Prevention” call for projects, backed by the Health Innovation Agency (Agence de l'Innovation en Santé) and operated by Bpifrance as part of the France 2030 investment plan. The announcement was made official during the award ceremony held on December 3, 2025, in Paris.
DETECSEPS relies on an innovative approach, combining a clinical score with a blood biomarker, to enable the early detection of infections likely to progress to sepsis within the emergency departments of AP-HP and the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL)—respectively a founding member and a partner of IHU SEPSIS.
Within this framework, Volition will provide the project's sole biomarker, while Euroimmun (a Revvity company) will supply the IDS i10® automated analyzer for evaluation under real-world conditions.
IHU SEPSIS is proud to be at the heart of this dynamic innovation for public health, strengthening the early screening of sepsis and improving patient care.
