IHU SEPSIS organized, in collaboration with some fifteen learned societies and France Sepsis Association, a day dedicated to presenting the new HAS (French National Authority for Health) guidelines for the management of sepsis in newborns, children, and adults.
These recommendations cover the entire care pathway, from community medicine to socio-professional reintegration.
Ten lectures and two panel discussions fueled the day's agenda, driving rich discussions between the speakers and the audience. Key messages highlighted during the event included:
- The need to raise awareness about sepsis
- The importance of prevention, particularly through vaccination
- Addressing population-specific needs, from newborns and children to adults and the elderly
- Early rehabilitation and post-sepsis follow-up
- Initial and continuing education for healthcare professionals
- The need for enhanced coordination across different medical specialties
Another step forward in improving sepsis care at all stages of life.
With the support of the DGOS (Directorate General for Healthcare Services), the DGS (Directorate General for Health), and the HAS (French National Authority for Health).
